   Lao Tsu can be understood only if you become pregrant with him. Allow him. Open the doors.
   ラオツーは、もしあなたが彼を妊娠したならば、その時だけ理解する事ができる。
   He will not try to argue because he does not believe in argument.
   彼は説きふせようととは試みないだろう。と言うのは彼は議論を信じていないからだ。
   He is not a mind being at all, he is absolutely a heart-being.
   彼は頭の存在では全然ないからで、彼は絶対的にハートの存在だからだ。
   He is simple, his analogies are that of a villager – but alive, radiant, vital.
   彼は単純で、彼のたとえ話は田舎もののたとえ話のそれだ。でも、生き生きしている、眩しく、肝心だ。
   If you allow him, suddenly you will be transformed – just an understanding, a heart-understanding, and you will be transformed by him.
   もしあなたが彼を許したら、突然、あなたは変容するだろう – ただ理解するだけで、ハートの理解で、そうしてあなたは彼によって変容させられる事になるだろう。
   A religious man is not ambitious at all.
   宗教的な人は全然野心的ではない。
   Ambition is the first thing that drops from a religious man, becasue ambition means to be in the future and religious man is always here and now.
   野心というのは宗教的な人から最初に落ちて行く物だ。というのは、野心が意味するのは未来にいる事で、宗教的な人はいつでも、今とここにいる。
   He exisits in the present, he has no future to bother about.
   彼は現在の中に存在する。彼は悩まされる未来を持っていない。
   And he is not in any way afraid.
   そうして、彼はどんな風にも恐れていない。
   He lives so totally, how can he be afraid?
   彼はそんなにも全一的(トータル)に生きる。どうして彼は恐れる事ができる？
   The fear comes becasue you live fragmentarily.
   恐怖がやって来るのはあなたが部分的に生きるからだ。
   You have not lived at all, that’s why the fear.
   あなたは全然生きて来なかった。それが恐怖の理由だ。
